A Haitian girl came into the store the other day....Haitian people have some really strong accents and they pronounce the "r" as if it follows a "w"...and sometimes, they are hard to understand. so here's the conversation.
girl: "do you 'ave wedbool?"
me: "i'm sorry, do we have who?"
girl (a little bit louder): "wreeeedbool?"
me: "excuse me?"
girl: "wedboool give u wings!" (while doing a flying motion)
me (in the middle of a whole bunch of laughing): "oh, Red Bull! yeah, look on door 2. Red Bull gives you wings!"
thumbs up to the makers of Red Bull for making a slogan that extends beyond language barriers!
