"Truthiness" in the dictionary
I was just reading AOL news and I saw that Colbert's word, "truthiness" has made it in the Merriam-Webster Dictionary. For fans of the show, this is spectacular! I knew it from the first day that he said that word that he would become famous for it. It is defined as "truth that comes from the gut." Really, it was Colbert's attempt to make fun of G.W and his methods of judging people, places, things, etc. It was when he wanted to appoint Harriet Myers as a Supreme Court judge back in 2005. That was about when his show started as well and GW made his famous comment about "feeling in his gut" that she was the right person for the job although she was in no way qualified. I am loving this!
