I just got done watching two movies. Tomorrow I work in the evening so i figured that i could indulge myself. now before i talk about my movies, i will speak of something that caught my attention while i was signing out of my hotmail. I saw a headline stating that Paris Hilton was swearing off sex for a year. Now really, the question in my mind was, "who gives a shit!???????????????????????????" First of all, I have no idea why she would want to tell anyone that and secondly, I wonder if there was nothing else of importance around the world that would have been more entertaining to read. I saw the headline and figured that I would not waste my time reading about what Paris Hilton does in her free time. Really, I could care less and I could speak for a lot of other people who really do not care if Paris Hilton has sex or does not have sex for a year! I thought that as humans there was a level of decency that people try to maintain but obviously it has not filtered through some brains as yet.
Okay, now about the movies....One was "Hoodwinked" which Furgie happened to LOVE and the other was "Hustle and Flow" which i thought was really good and Furgie did not watch. Now that upset me. See, i watch the movies that Furgie watches and I even came in the room singing/rapping the lyrics of the theme song and yet, Furgie did not come out and watch the movie. Happened to be chatting on line....disappointed smiley!
Anyway, the movie had some good acting. Ludacris made a guest appearance in it and there was some good rapping. I usually do not listen to rap but this was nice. I liked. Figured I would see the movie since the song "it's hard out here for a pimp" won three-6-mafia an oscar and all. So yeah, there is a lot of cursing and some inappropriate things in the movie but nevertheless, it is a very good movie. To me, "Hoodwinked" was not as funny as it should have been. Usually funny is measured on the level of "Shrek" and "Emperor's New Groove" or "Mulan."
And as for the weekend, it is over and i am dreading work this week. dont know why yet...confused smiley.
