Mencia's "Religious Rumble"

Last night, I do not know for what reason I left the tv on to see "mind of mencia." For a while I had stopped watching Mencia's show because I thought that he was making too many racist attacks. I know he is trying to show that we should be pro-American, etc. I mean, he makes fun of everyone but there is a point where one draws the line. Tolerance only goes this far. So last night, he was going okay until he started this wrestling tournament using God. Now, Mencia brought out Shiva, Christ, Buddha, Moses, an invisible Allah and an invisible Mohammed. I think Mencia went too far. I will be biased for my religion. If he was making ethnic jokes, i do not mind but he stepped on people's beliefs and in doing that, he showed how small his mind really was.
America is more tolerant and respectful to people's beliefs than what Mencia showed. His little five minutes of fun was not effective in any way. Usually, I am very open-minded when it comes to stuff like this but this time, it was too much.
I know that these little things do not matter but there was something that Mencia said that was inappropriate. He was speaking with Edge. Actually, Edge said it. Edge is a WWE "wrestler." So Mencia said, "Hey do you know that Shiva is supposed to be celibate?"
Edge answers," Well with that many hands, I guess he will not need a woman."
I turned off the tv. It is nice when the joke is not intended to insult or undermine. Even the arabic jokes were not that offensive. Maybe Mencia knows that if he said the same about Allah, or Jesus, he would have the entire group of Muslims and Christians on his back the very next day....and we all know it!
