Ole ole ole ole, ole, ole!!!!!! Brazil wins Croatia 1-0

Well Brazil won as was expected. However, the team did not play as expected. Ronaldinho did play though....like 100 times better than Ronaldo. I have no idea what Ronaldo was doing out there! he was basically taking up space on the field and his only credit is that he made a close call at goal. In the end, it was Kaka who scored for Brasil. I was happy for the team but Croatia played well. They really gave Brasil a fair game and for that, i tip my hat to them.
Ronaldinho was clearly the most watched person on that field today. He was the life of the game and he entertained. Hopefully, Ronaldo will come back and join the team and help them out while he is at it.
So in the 80th minute of the match, the freaking satellite goes out because the bands of the first storm of the hurricane season (alberto is the storm) was passing through. We had a thunderstorm...a freaking thunderstorm that knocked out the satellite signal and broke the peas tree in our backyard!!!!!!!!!!(we were all hoping that we would have home grown peas for christmas---it's a trini thing--almost considered going outside to tie the tree up but thought against it when we noticed the lightning and thunder were striking simultaneously). and then, the local tv stations were not working because the tv only works with the satellite. so nan did the only thing we could do....go to FIFA's website and get the minute to minute score. that was the longest five minutes i have spent in a while! Then finally, i saw the last two minutes of the game and the storm started again. watch me go get cable now! i really hate when you pay a lot of money for something and it shuts down when you want it to work most. it's the suckiest thing ever! so, Brazil won but not a landslide victory as was expected. Hopefully, they will do better next time.
