Ole ole ole ole......My boys shine 2-0 against the Socceroos!

I've just finished watching Brasil do what they do best. My boys did well. I like the Socceroos but this time, i was behind Brasil. The Socceroos played well and they gave it their all. However, there's too many stars willing to shine on the Brasilian team. There's Ronaldinho (he plays football like if he's dancing samba and doing capoiera=0) ), Kaka, Cafu, Emerson, Ze Roberto (who made some fantastic saves), Dida (the goalkeeper), Robihno, Adriano, Carlos, Ronaldo.....Ronaldo hasn't been performing as he usually does but he did better today than in the first game. Gotta give these Brasilians props. Today, Ronaldihno gave us a show for a litte bit. His footwork was like that of a kid and we saw the innocent smile. He's such a kid. Even the older players play like kids....as if they never grew up. boys will be boys!
I think by the end of this whole world cup, i will lose my voice for a few days. The American commentators called Ronaldo "a bloated waste of space." I thought that was disrespectful and uncalled for. Ronaldo is a very very active part of the Brasilian team. The respect he has earned in the world of football is one that every footballer dreams of. including the american former footballer turned commentator. Even when the ball is all the way on the other side of the field, there is always a man marking Ronaldo. He will surprise us this time. I know he will come out and break Pele's record. He will score his 13th goal. It's only a matter of time. Compared to the first game, the Brasilians improved....and even now, they are not playing as they usually do. They can only improve now and they surely will. this is a talented team. They have a dream team and nothing stops the Brasilians from doing what they do best.
Well, there has been a little incident surrounding the goal that england scored against t'dad. the first goal. On the German tv reports, it clearly shows Crouch pulling Sancho's dreadlocks while he hits the ball in and the referee never called a foul. Of course we are an underdog team so no one will say anything but at the same time, it will not stop the trinis from celebrating. Our team played well this far. Much much better than jamaica did in 1998 and i think we have definitely made a mark in this world cup. In the end, that is all we ask for. And for a little while, the crimes stopped in Trinidad as the nation became united for this event. So to our footballers, thank you fo a job well done and one that has made all of us proud.
