Woes......

Today was one of those days that you go to work and you know at the end of the day that you really worked well beyond what you are paid. Well, the food inspector came today.... enough said. I did all i could have done. The faults she found were not mine. I had everything I do covered. Kinda knew she was coming for a while now so I was prepared. My bosses, however, were not prepared.
Then, book buy-back is going on. So while the food inspector and customers are in the store, the pakistani boss is shouting across the store at me about a book i bought for $15 that he did not want to buy anymore. Mind you, he will resell the book for $39. he is telling me that i should follow a list that he has when all morning he was not going by the list when i was calling him. Now, the book is a small thing. everyone knows he is always like that including the customers. there are customers who refuse to come to the store when he is there. Laila said he radiated black energy. she pretty much said it best. I make no apologies because i know him all too well. he is going to sell that book. Stopped listening to him a long time ago.
Then there was a lady who came in and cussed me up for no reason again. On top of all of that, I had a very good day! I guess the lady and her boyfriend were fighting. So the boyfriend comes into the store and he is paying me for the stuff he is buying and the lady walks up to me and snatches the money right out of my hand and walks out of the store. so I ask the guy what is wrong with her. and he answers, "she didn't have her medicine today." I laughed. A few seconds after, she pulls back in the parking lot and walks back into the store and starts cussing me for laughing with the guy about her.
See, bullsh*t like this is intolerable to me. If one wants to act like a fool in public and embarrass oneself, then go ahead! but when other people are humored, one should not be offended. There is a time and place for nonsense and it is definitely not on my shift. i have a low tolerance for stupid behavior especially when it is tested out around me. she left before i got to answer her properly.
the highlight of the day was brazil's game with japan. and boy was it a highlight.....
