Germany's first real match up

For anyone watching this match, i am sure that i am not the only one who will agree that this is the first real match up that Germany is having. Germany had developed a strategy of scoring in the first 6 minutes of the game and today, it is half-time and they haven't scored yet. I think Argentina stands a very good chance of winning. All they need to do is score and defend their goal now. We shall see. Hopefully the game will not go into overtime though. I feel sorry for the players when that happens. Really strenuous game. But today i am backing Argentina. I like their style.
Oh, in other news....Brasil plays against France manana....Will be home to watch this one in English!!!!. it should be a win for Brasil provided that my boy, Ronaldo, does not suffer a seizure 1 hour before the game like what happened in '98.....very disappointed smiley=0( I am behind Brasil all the way. Now back to work!!!!!!!!!!! ole ole ole ole!!!!

Okay, this is one day later. Argentina lost this game in the penatly kickoff. I was a little sad for them. they cried and i guess this is how it is going to be for the entire game. One team wins and another loses. there is victory and defeat on the field from now...More pronounced than in the prelims. you feel sorry for the losing team but you feel the joy of the winning team. don't really like to see tears.

Today England played against Portugal. In the 62nd minute, Rooney, england's striker, got a red card...very foolishly. he kinda stepped on a player's groin (i am guessing that must hurt) and it wasn't that which got him the card. he went on to push another player and got a yellow card and went to argue with the referee and got a red card. Talk about stupidity. I know he is young (i think 20) but his actions cost his country the game. Portugal went on to win in the PK section of the game. The players were physically spent. it showed on them. now, whoever wins this game plays against whoever wins this evening...there is brasil vs. france this evening. I am behind Brasil once more. i love this team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as for the world cup finals, it seems as if it will be another showdown between brasil and germany once more. Hoping it will be their 6th win. Don't really like arrogance on the field. Germany and England does that a lot. why can't everyone play like the Brasilians...with a smile???????? Ole ole ole ole, ole ole!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
