We lost...but boy did we play! Shaka shone again and even though 2 goals got past him, he made 6 saves. I'm proud of my team. My throat is sore now but I'll recover in time to cheer them on for the last match with Paraguay. Little bit disappointed but really, we played a good game. If we lost this one, there is still another on to be played. We really did get a bunch of yellow cards though. For what, i don't know!
My boss called me to tell me that my team is not good. I wanted to tell him to go f*ck himself after he kept insisting that my team was no good. Resisted the urge...don't really like to use colorful vocabulary. I'll save it for a somebody...not a nobody like him. Now this is the Pakistani one. The Indian one told me that my team did well considering that they held off agianst England for almost 82 minutes. Wanted to ask the Pakistani one where the hell was Pakistan's world cup team?!!!! In order to even qualify, you have to be good so for him to say anything about my team was bullsh*t. Pakistan needs to win a qualifier first before he talks about my team! Really, we did well. We still got play.
To my Soca Warriors, Go TRINBAGO! you made us proud today and i am sure that many other Trinis feel the same way too. And we are still celebrating....and even years after this, we will still celebrate this world cup. We are making our name known for a little country with just over 1 million people....and with a lot of talent nevertheless.
